Duarte Amaral Netto (Lissabon 1976) De interieurs in de fotowerken van Netto zijn rijk en warm, maar dit reflecteert niet op de aanwezige personen. Verdriet en eenzaamheid is af te lezen aan hun houdingen. Hetzelfde geld voor de voorstellingen buiten in een paradijselijk landschap. Het spelen met licht, kleurgebruik en de plaatsing van de personen in het interieur doet sterk denken aan de klassieke schilderkunst. |
Duarte Amaral Netto (Lisboa 1976) The interiors in the photoworks by Netto are rich and warm. However this does not reflect on the people present in the rooms. One can sense the sadness and lonelyness from their postures. Same counts for the representation outside in a paradisiac lanscape. The setting of the light, use of colours and the putting up of the people in the interiors gives a strong feeling of relationship with the classic way of painting. |
